The Zug Breast Centre

The Zuger Kantonsspital has been a network partner of the Breast Centre of the Luzerner Kantonsspital since 2014. This partnership provides our patients with highly specialised yet local advice, medical care and support.

The network's central clinic is the Luzerner Kantonsspital (LUKS). It comprises specialists from pathology, radio-oncology and nuclear medicine, all of whom complement our expertise.

As a network partner, we can carry out all examinations and treatments that do not need to be performed in the central clinic in-house at the Zuger Kantonsspital. At the weekly interdisciplinary tumour review, the specialists of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital exchange information via video conferencing. Working in close cooperation with the family doctor, the team of experts from the various specialist disciplines agrees on the best possible evidence-based therapy appropriate for the individual tumour case.
